Sometimes life will try to push us down, thoughts will whisper to us everything that we’re not: you’re not as talented as your friend, you’re not as attractive as your colleague, you’re not as smart as your neighbour. And so, you will begin to blame yourself: if I was as tall and fair as she is, I would have been married by now and work in big offices. If my parents were rich, I would have done this or that. Amidst all these we are plunged into confusion and depression may set in.
But the truth of the matter is that you are God’s masterpiece, you are His vessel of honor, He’s crowned you with His favor, you have royal blood flowing through your veins. You’re not lacking, you are not a deficit, you are complete and have everything you need to fulfill your destiny.
SCRIPTURE:
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago, (Ephesians 2:10) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
When you are always discounting yourself and thinking you’re at a disadvantage, it’s keeping you from rising higher.
Beloved, it’s easy to go through life thinking that you’re lacking in some area and comparing yourself with others. You should also bear mind that you’re not running their race, you don’t need what they have. If you needed it God, would have given it to you. God doesn’t make mistakes.
When God laid out the plan for your life, he carefully studied it, He thought about what you would need and what it would take to get you there, then He matched you with your world. He gave you the talent you need, the strength and the right size, you have the right personality and you come from the right family. So, don’t let anything nor anyone make you believe or feel otherwise. We are God’s masterpiece; He has created us anew in Christ Jesus. Stay Motivated!
