One sure secret to leading a victorious life and overcoming the challenges of life is working our schedule around God. But then you would see too many of us trying to work God into their schedule. They call the shots and reduced God at the participant level. Yet, they struggle and fall. But the Bible says in Isaiah 65:24,
SCRIPTURE: Even before they call, I will answer, and while they are still speaking, I will hear. (Isaiah 65:24 BSB)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, hear this, God is not an option, He is a necessity. He is never a spare part that we can change at will, He holds the center stage of our lives. When we work our schedule around God, everything about us changes. What used to be so difficult would become so easy. David understood this principle a lot. He would not go to any war without first of all worked his plans around God in prayer (1 Sam 30:8). Any wonder, he fought over 60 battles, and he didn’t lose any. When we work our schedule around God, He turns our little effort to great achievement. We’d triumph in all that we do. We would go to our workplaces and businesses with boldness knowing that God is with us, and He would give us success (Josh 1:5).
So, beloved, just maybe, the reason you struggle in life is because you are trying to work God into your schedule, rather than working your schedule around Him. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: God knows the beginning from the end. He sees you and knows the plan He has for you.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, don’t try to work God into your schedule, but work your schedule around Him.
PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. Cause me to work my schedule around You, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you involve God in your life, may He never abandon you, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
