So, again, beloved, with Jesus in your life, the gift of the Holy Spirit is given to you. This means, you now have God’s power living in you. The Holy Spirit helps you have faith and compassion. He convicts you of right and wrong and gives you the power to resist temptation and make choices to glorify God.
SCRIPTURE: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: With Jesus in your life, the first thing that He wants to do is bring POWER into your life. Power to do and be more than you can imagine! This power that comes from the Holy Spirit equips you to do exploits in life, and allows you to stand strong for the things of God (Dan 11:32). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: With Jesus in your life, power is given to you. Power to become more than you can imagine.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, ask God for the gift of the Holy Spirit.
PRAYER: O Lord, give me the gift of the Holy Spirit, and cause Your power to fall on me, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: With Jesus in your life, may you receive the power of God, and begin to do exploits, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
