TOPIC: WITH JESUS IN YOUR LIFE (17)
Indeed, Jesus is more than enough for us (2 Cor. 12:9). He’s our portion, our inheritance and salvation. And with Him in our lives, we’re joyfully content. Everything we really want is with Him. Yes, it’s true. Jesus is all sufficient (Col 1:22), He’s the one who created the world and holds it all together (1:17). The one in whom wisdom and knowledge and the hope of glory are stored (1:27). Any wonder, the Psalmist declared in Psm 16:5, he said,
SCRIPTURE: The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance. (Psalm 16:5 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Jesus is our treasure in heaven (Matt 19:21). And with Him in our lives, we’re complete. Even when our flesh and heart may fail, He is the strength of our heart and our portion forever, (Psm 73:26). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: With Jesus in your life, you’re joyfully content in all circumstances because He is more than enough.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, having known this truth today, please go ahead and continue to enjoy your life in Christ Jesus.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, thank You for being more than enough for me. Please cause me to always remain in You all the days of my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: With Jesus in your life, may you be joyfully content always, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
