TOPIC: WITH JESUS IN YOUR LIFE (14)
Life in Christ Jesus is a life of freedom (2 Cor. 3:17). In Christ, there’s freedom and with Jesus in our lives, our freedom abounds. But, what’s freedom? Freedom is the absence of subjection to domination. It’s the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved. For the context, we’re going to be looking at freedom in two ways; first the things that Christ has freed us from and the things Christ has freed us to. We shall be looking at the former today and the later subsequently.
SCRIPTURE: So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:36 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, what are the things Christ, the Son, has freed us from? Christ has freed us from the boundage of sin and captivity, (2 Cor 3:17). From the penalty of sin, (Rom 6:23), and from the guilt and shame of sin, (2 Cor 5:21). In our days and life of living without Christ, whatever sin wanted that’s what sin got. But today, beloved, with Jesus in your life, you can rejoice because if you have Christ then you have eternal life. You no longer have to pay the penalty for your sin, and you will never be separated from the love of God in Christ Jesus. So, congratulations and welcome to the new Month of April. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: With Jesus in your life, your freedom abounds and your days of living in sin, shame and curse are over forever.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, go ahead and celebrate your freedom in Christ Jesus.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, thank You for giving me freedom. Please cause me never to depart from Your love again, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
