WHERE ARE THE INTERCESSORS? BIRTHING REVIVAL THROUGH TRAVAIL (6)

Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional

Date: Monday, 12 May 2025

Focus: When Intercession Becomes Revival

Message:

Revival has never come without a cry. Before the rain of the Spirit falls, there is always the cry of the intercessor—those hidden ones who carry the burden, weep between the porch and the altar, and refuse to be silent until Heaven touches Earth. Intercession is not soft—it is warfare. It is labor. It is travail. Zion could not bring forth until she travailed. Likewise, the Church cannot bring revival until she groans again.

This devotional series is a prophetic charge to rise as an intercessor in this generation. It is for watchmen, gatekeepers, and birthing vessels. It is for those who will cry until nations bow and prodigals return. So, beloved, this is your call to stand in the gap… until revival is born.

📖 Key Verse:

Isaiah 66:8 – “As soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”

Devotional:

Every move of God was once a whispered prayer. Before there was fire in the streets, there were tears on the floor. Before there was awakening, there was intercession.

Revival doesn’t begin with a crowd. It begins when one soul says yes to God’s burden—and keeps crying until Heaven invades Earth. When the early church was threatened, they didn’t organize a protest—they gathered to pray. And what followed? The place was shaken., boldness was released, and the Spirit was poured out afresh. (See Acts 4:31) This is what happens when intercession becomes revival. The atmosphere shifts. The glory descends. The fire spreads.

📖 Scripture Reading:

Acts 4:31 – “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken…”
James 5:16 – “…The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

💧 Refreshing for the Day:

Beloved, your prayers are not in vain. Every time you groaned, cried, wept, and pressed—Heaven was building something. You weren’t just praying. You were laying bricks in the foundation of awakening. So, let your prayer life become an upper room where God pours out His Spirit again. Revival is not random. It is responded to. God is waiting to move through those who will labor in prayer, stay faithful in groaning, and refuse to quit. Let your altar become His launch pad. Stay Refreshed!

Note This:

When fire falls, it always lands on a prepared altar.

🛡️ Responsibility:

  1. Invite the Holy Spirit to turn your prayer space into a revival room.
  2. Cry out not just for personal breakthrough—but for a move of God in your generation.

🙏 Prayer:

Father, make my altar ready. Let my intercession become revival. Shake what needs to be shaken, and pour out what You’ve prepared. Do it again, Lord—start with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

🔥 Prophetic Declaration:

Revival is in my cry! What I prayed in private will be answered in public! God is moving through my intercession—fire is falling, and glory is rising! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
