When God Says ‘Wait (7)

Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional

Date: Saturday, 20 December 2025

Topic: When God Says ‘Wait (7)

Focus: Waiting Ends With God’s Perfect Answer

🔥Theme: When God Says “Wait”

Waiting seasons can feel confusing, slow, and uncomfortable, yet they are often the places where God does His deepest work. This devotional series explores why God sometimes asks us to wait and what He is doing during those quiet, in-between moments. Through Scripture and reflection, we will learn how to trust God’s timing, find strength in the waiting, and recognize that divine delays are purposeful—not wasted. So, beloved, as you walk through this series, expect your perspective on waiting to shift from frustration to faith, and from impatience to peace.

📖 Key Verse:

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength…”Isaiah 40:31

Devotional:

Waiting does not last forever. God’s answers always come at the right time. What He begins in waiting, He completes in fulfillment. Many in Scripture waited—Abraham for a son, Joseph for freedom, David for the throne, Hannah for a child. Their waiting seasons ended not with disappointment, but with God’s perfect response. Psalm 130:5 says, “I wait for the Lord… and in His word I put my hope.”

📖 Scripture Reading:

• Psalm 130:5 — Hope in God while waiting.
• Habakkuk 2:3 — The vision will come at the appointed time.
• Isaiah 60:22 — God acts at the right time.

💧 Refreshing for the Day:

So, beloved, God’s answer may not look like what you expected, but it will always be what you need. Waiting prepares you to receive the answer with wisdom, humility, and gratitude. Trust this truth: God will not keep you waiting forever. Stay Refreshed!

Note This:

🌱 Waiting ends, but God’s faithfulness remains.

🛡️ Responsibility:

Thank God today—even before the answer comes. Gratitude keeps faith strong.

🙏 Prayer:

Father, thank You for carrying me through this waiting season. I trust Your answer, Your timing, and Your perfect will for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

🔥 Prophetic Declaration:

My waiting is coming to an end. God’s perfect answer is unfolding in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
