Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Sunday, 14 December 2025
Topic: When God Says ‘Wait (1)
Focus: Waiting Is Not Wasted Time
🔥Theme: When God Says “Wait”
Waiting seasons can feel confusing, slow, and uncomfortable, yet they are often the places where God does His deepest work. This devotional series explores why God sometimes asks us to wait and what He is doing during those quiet, in-between moments. Through Scripture and reflection, we will learn how to trust God’s timing, find strength in the waiting, and recognize that divine delays are purposeful—not wasted. So, beloved, as you walk through this series, expect your perspective on waiting to shift from frustration to faith, and from impatience to peace.
📖 Key Verse:
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength…” — Isaiah 40:31
Devotional:
Waiting is one of the hardest instructions God gives. We prefer action, movement, and quick answers. But when God says “wait,” He is not ignoring you—He is working.
Waiting does not mean nothing is happening. It means God is preparing something you cannot see yet. In the waiting, God strengthens your faith, shapes your character, and aligns the right timing.
📖 Scripture Reading:
• Isaiah 40:31 — Strength is renewed in waiting.
• Psalm 27:14 — “Wait for the Lord; be strong.”
• Lamentations 3:25 — God is good to those who wait.
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that those who wait on the Lord do not lose strength—they gain it. Waiting is not a pause in God’s plan; it is part of the plan. So, beloved, if God has asked you to wait, trust that He is doing more than you realize. God’s delays are not denials. Waiting is where strength is renewed. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
