When God Removes Before You’re Ready
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Monday, 23 March 2026
Topic: When God Removes Things You Wanted (2)
Focus: When God Removes Before You’re Ready
🔥Theme:
It is easy to trust God when He gives. It is harder to trust Him when He removes. Sometimes God takes away opportunities, relationships, plans, or seasons we deeply desired. In those moments, confusion and pain can arise. Yet Scripture reveals that God’s removals are never random. What He removes, He replaces with purpose. What He takes away, He often uses to protect, refine, or redirect.
This series explores how to trust God when He removes what you wanted—and how to discover that His plans are still good, even in loss.
📖 Key Verse:
“The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.” — Job 1:21
Devotional:
Some removals feel sudden. You were not prepared. You were not finished. You were not ready to let go. It can feel abrupt—like something ended too soon. But God is not limited by our sense of timing. He sees what we cannot see ahead. What feels premature to us may be perfectly timed in His plan. Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us that there is a time for everything. God operates according to divine timing, not human readiness.
📖 Scripture Reading:
- Ecclesiastes 3:1 — A time for every season
- Isaiah 43:18–19 — God doing a new thing
- John 13:7 — You may not understand now
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
God’s timing is purposeful, even when it feels sudden. So, beloved, sometimes He removes things before we feel ready because waiting longer could delay what He is trying to bring next. God prepares you not only before something begins—but also through what ends. Even when you feel unready, God remains intentional. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
⏰ God’s timing does not depend on your readiness but on His purpose.
🛡️ Responsibility:
When something feels ended too soon, choose to trust that God is still in control.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, when things change before I feel ready, help me trust Your timing. Give me peace in transitions and confidence that You are leading me forward. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I trust God’s timing in every season. Even when I feel unready, He is guiding me with wisdom and purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
