WALKING IN GOD’S PEACE (3)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional www.thefountspring.org
Date: Sunday, 3 November 2024
Focus: Letting Go of Control
One of the greatest barriers to peace is our desire to control everything. We often believe that if we can control situations, we will feel secure, but true peace comes from surrendering control to God. When we let go and trust in His sovereignty, we allow His peace to guard our hearts and minds. Walking in God’s peace means trusting that He is in control, even when life feels uncertain.
Scripture Reading: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5-6
Refreshing for the Day: So, today, practice letting go of control in situations that make you anxious. Surrender them to God, trusting that He knows best. By the end of the day, reflect on how surrendering control has brought you closer to His peace. Stay Refreshed!
Note This: Peace is not found in control; it’s found in surrender to God’s will.
Responsibility: In what areas of your life are you trying to maintain control? How can you trust God more fully with these areas?
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to surrender control to You. Teach me to trust Your wisdom and guidance, knowing that Your plans are perfect. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prophetic Word: I declare that I am letting go of control and choosing to trust in God’s sovereignty. His peace fills me as I rest in His perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
