Walking by Faith, Not by Sight (2)

Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional

Date: Friday, 30 January 2026

Topic: Walking by Faith, Not by Sight (2)

Focus: Trusting God When Answers Are Delayed

🔥Theme:

A new season often brings moments where clarity feels limited and certainty feels distant. Yet God invites us to live by faith—trusting His Word more than our circumstances and His promises more than what our eyes can see. This devotional series will guide you in learning how to trust God step by step, even when the path ahead is unclear. As you walk through these days, expect your faith to deepen and your confidence in God’s leading to grow.

📖 Key Verse:

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

Devotional:

Delayed answers can test our faith. When prayers seem unanswered and timelines stretch, it is easy to feel uncertain or discouraged. But delay does not mean denial.

God often uses waiting to deepen our trust and strengthen our faith. While we wait, He is working—aligning details, preparing hearts, and shaping us for what is ahead. Habakkuk 2:3 reminds us that God’s promises come at the appointed time.

📖 Scripture Reading:

  • Habakkuk 2:3 — God’s promise will come
  • Psalm 27:14 — Wait for the Lord
  • Isaiah 40:31 — Strength renewed in waiting

💧 Refreshing for the Day:

Faith learns to rest in God’s timing instead of rushing for immediate answers. Trusting God in delay is an act of faith. Waiting well is a sign of spiritual maturity. God’s timing is never late, and His purposes are never rushed. Faith grows stronger while waiting on God. Stay Refreshed!

Note This:

Delays refine faith, not weaken it.

🛡️ Responsibility:

Practice patience today by trusting God with something you’ve been waiting for.

🙏 Prayer:

Father, help me trust You when answers are delayed. Strengthen my faith as I wait and remind me that You are always working for my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

🔥 Prophetic Declaration:

I trust God in seasons of delay. My faith remains strong, and I rest in His perfect timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
