One key peculiarity about ‘the test’ is that we don’t pray it away, we don’t bind and cast it, but we grow over it. Yes, this is true. But then, we need to understand that ‘the test’ is not an evil thing, neither is it an attack nor the temptation of the enemy, rather it’s a necessary check on our character, attitude, and maturity. God uses it to develop us into our destiny, to shape and grow in us certain qualities that we need to grow. That’s why we should know that some of the things that happen to us, don’t happen by chance. It’s God testing us.
SCRIPTURE: Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. (1 Peter 4:12 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, a person can fail the test many times, but can only pass it one time. If he fails the test over and over, he will have to take it again, over and over again. It keeps reoccurring until he passes it. It’s not going to go away, and he won’t run away from it. But just because we failed the test, doesn’t mean our end has come, and it won’t stop our destiny. God doesn’t give up on us, He gives us another chance. When we begin to pass the tests, then God will begin to trust us with more of His favor. God already knows how we will respond to the test. He knows what we are made of. It’s not for Him, but it’s to show us what’s in us, and to help us develop it. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Tests in our life don’t go away, we can’t run away from them either. We can only pass it to overcome it.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, ask God for the grace to pass every necessary test in your life.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to pass every necessary test in my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: The last time you failed a test in your life, will be the last forever. Receive the grace to pass every test NOW, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
