Have you ever wondered why there’re too many churches planted everywhere, yet sin abounds the most amongst us? We make a show of public expression and worship, while our hearts are wicked, filled with evil. We place more faith in the ritual of our religion than in God we worship. Our services to God, our sacrifice of worships, our gifts, our time, our money mean nothing to God when they come from a corrupt and unfaithful heart (Isaiah 1:13). But until we turn our hearts to God, we may never get it right.
SCRIPTURE: Surrender your heart to God, turn to him in prayer, and give up your sins… (Job 11:13-14) CEV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, God does not take pleasure in our outward expressions, if our hearts are turned against Him. God is calling for our sincere faith and true devotion, and not a mere religious ceremony. God wants us to love Him, trust Him and turn from our sin; after that, He will hear and answer our prayers, and be pleased with our sacrifice of worship. Stay Lifted!

RESPONSIBILITY: Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
PRAYER: O LORD, have mercy on me, according to Your loving devotion and great compassion, blot out my transgressions, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you turn your heart to God, may He bless and establish you and yours, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
