THERE IS NO COMPETITION IN DESTINY

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: SATURDAY, 14 AUGUST 2021

For some reasons, we all have allowed unhealthy strife, conflict, scuffle and gift-tussle to have eaten so deep into our lives, and Christian core values. Many of us are so gifted with great potentials, great destinies, but we have discounted ourselves, wishing to become like some else, desiring to have what others have, thereby putting ourselves in a bag where we don’t belong. And when it’s not coming forth, it makes us feel perpetually sad, envy and jealous.

We become so argumentative, quarrelsome, provocative and controversial in every process we’re involved. But the truth is, there’s no competition in destiny.  A proper understanding of this subject matter will help to ameliorate every unhealthy fight, scuffle and, hatred among the people and brethren.

SCRIPTURE: Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. (Galatians 6:4) NLT

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: There’s no limitation to what we can achieve in life, our only limitation is wherever our imagination stops.

Every destiny has its own wings to fly, they’re trapped within us. It also has a unique runway or platform to thrive. But until we sit on our destiny’s wings, finds its route and set it off, it may not fly. God has one big purpose He wants to achieve in life. So, He devised a method of accomplishing this purpose and spread them into destinies. In the light of this, every destiny is geared towards achieving this purpose of God (See Eph 4:11-16). So, we’re meant to go ahead discovering our destinies and maximizing them. Knowing that we’re in one race and in this together. When you see your brother or sister doing well in his ministry or area of calling, please encourage him or her, don’t be jealous, don’t go about gossiping him. You can always put efforts to do well in your own area of calling.

I will conclude with the Words of 1 Cor 3:8, and it says, “He who plants and he who waters are one in purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor.” So, desist from every unhealthy competition with anyone, channel that energy to discovering, building and maximizing your destiny. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS: There’s no limitation to what we can achieve in life, our only limitation is wherever our imagination stops.

RESPONSIBILITY: You have a unique destiny, endeavour to make it happen. Know it that you are not in competition with anyone.

PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to live above every destiny competition, even as I make efforts to accomplish my destiny, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD: Receive the grace to maximize your destiny and achieve maximum results in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

BIBLE TEXTS: Gal 6:4, 1 Cor 3:8, Eph 4:11-16
