On the inside of every man, resides great potentials, abilities, possibilities and ideas needed to lead a good life on earth and fulfil his destiny. As good as those latent abilities are and that they are in you doesn’t mean that they are automatically going to manifest. First of all, you need to be aware. God has deposited them inside of you, it’s now up to you to exploit them. Too many people have remained so long in the shell of themselves. Searching around for what they have inside of them, but it’s time to get out of the shell and shine.
SCRIPTURE:
…I have given help to one who is mighty [giving him the power to be a champion for Israel]; I have exalted one chosen from the people, (Psalm 89:19) AMP
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
Every person’s identity in life is tied to his latent abilities.
God identified and called us by what we have inside. In Judges 6:11-16; a man by the name of Gideon. God wanted him to lead the people of Israel against an opposing army. But Gideon had wormy thoughts. He was stuck in his shell. One day the angel of the Lord appeared unto him and said, “Hello Gideon, you mighty man of fearless courage”. Gideon was afraid, intimidated and insecure. But notice, God didn’t call him what he was. God called him what he could become.
Beloved, God sees your potential. God knows what you’re capable of. You may feel weak but God calls you strong. You may be intimidated today but God calls you confident. Do away with wormy thoughts and refuse to be intimidated like Gideon. As seen in vs 15; Gideon answered the angel, “How am I supposed to save Israel? I come from the poorest family in all of Manasseh and I am the least one in my father’s house”.
Notice those wormy thoughts. A lot of times, like Gideon, we do the same thing. “I can’t do anything great. I’m not that talented. If I was a different family. If I had a better job”, and so on. Stop it, get rid of the excuses. You are equipped. You are empowered. You already have everything you need to fulfil your destiny. There is a champion in you. It’s in you right now. Stay Lifted!

RESPONSIBILITY:
Get in agreement with God and start exploiting what he deposited in you.
PRAYER:
O LORD, open the eyes of my heart to see the champion in me, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
As you discover the champion in you, may they lift you beyond your imagination, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
