THE THRESHOLD: DON’T STOP AT THE DOOR, STEP IN (6)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Monday, 28 April 2025
Focus: Losing Sight, Gaining Vision
Message:
Many linger at the threshold of revival but never step all the way in. This is a push into the Holy of Holies, into divine possession.
Key Verse:
📖 Key Verse: Ezekiel 47:5 – “The water had risen and was deep enough to swim in—a river that no one could cross.”
Devotional:
When you fully enter the river—deep enough to swim—something shifts: you lose natural sight but gain spiritual vision. In shallow water, you can still see the bottom, chart your course, and plan your steps. But when you are fully immersed, you must trust the current. This is what happens when you surrender fully to God: You stop walking by what you see. You start living by what He says. You stop managing and start moving prophetically. God will often allow the natural to blur so that the spiritual can sharpen.
📖 Scripture Readings:
2 Corinthians 5:7 – “For we live by faith, not by sight.”
Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Beloved, the deep is disorienting to your flesh but perfect for your faith. So, today, God is calling you to trade natural control for supernatural clarity. You might lose your own sight—but you’ll gain His vision. Let this encourage you: if your vision feels blurry, it’s because you’re being invited into faith. Walk by His whisper, not by what your eyes understand. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
Losing your sight is not losing your way. It’s gaining His way.
🛡️ Responsibility:
- Surrender your need to “figure it out.”
- Pray for God’s vision to be your guiding light.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, I trade my natural sight for spiritual vision. Lead me not by what I see but by what You speak. Blur what needs to blur until all I seek is You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I walk by faith and not by sight! I am led by the Spirit! I see through the eyes of God, and my steps are ordered by His voice! Alleluia!
📖 Bible Texts:
Ezekiel 47:1-6, Galatians 5:25, 2 Cor. 5:7, Hebrews 11:1
