THE THRESHOLD: DON’T STOP AT THE DOOR, STEP IN (5)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Sunday, 27 April 2025
Focus: The Current Is Stronger Than You
Message:
Many linger at the threshold of revival but never step all the way in. This is a push into the Holy of Holies, into divine possession.
Key Verse:
📖 Key Verse: Ezekiel 47:5 – “The water had risen and was deep enough to swim in—a river that no one could cross.”
Devotional:
When Ezekiel was led into the river, he came to a point where the water was “a river that no one could cross.” It was no longer a place to walk—it was a place to swim.
At this level, human strength fails. Fleshly control ends. Pride drowns. And the Spirit takes over. The river is stronger than you because it’s designed to carry you where your feet could never walk. It’s the place where: you stop striving and start surrendering. You stop planning and start flowing. You stop surviving and start thriving. Many fear this stage because it feels risky—but it’s the safest place: fully carried by God.
📖 Scripture Reading:
Galatians 5:25 – “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Beloved, you can’t outswim the river of God’s will. You can only yield to it. So, today, God is calling you to lose yourself in the flow. It’s time to stop touching the ground. Swim by the Spirit! Ask yourself: Am I still trying to keep “one foot” on safety while God is calling me to swim? Today’s refreshing is this: It’s safer in His current than in your control. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
The river is stronger—but it’s also safer.
🛡️ Responsibility:
- Let go of self-reliance today.
- Pray: “Holy Spirit, teach me to swim.”
🙏 Prayer:
Holy Spirit, I yield to Your river. Carry me into places my feet cannot go. I trust Your strength more than my own. Lead me deeper until only You are seen. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I will swim in the river of God! I yield to the flow of the Spirit! My strength decreases and His power increases in me! Alleluia!
