THE THRESHOLD: DON’T STOP AT THE DOOR, STEP IN (3)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Friday, 25 April 2025
Focus: Knee-Deep & Still Holding Back
Message:
Many linger at the threshold of revival but never step all the way in. This is a push into the Holy of Holies, into divine possession.
Key Verse:
📖 Key Verse: Ezekiel 47:5 – “The water had risen and was deep enough to swim in—a river that no one could cross.”
Devotional:
Knee-deep water is the place of tension. You’re in deeper, but you’re still in control. It’s the place of half-surrender—where one moment you’re flowing with God, and the next you’re resisting. The knees symbolize prayer, yet many bow without fully yielding. They pray but won’t obey. They intercede but won’t walk away from compromise. Knee-deep believers know there’s more but fear the cost. The current is stronger now. The river starts to pull. God is drawing you deeper—but the fear of losing control makes you hesitant.
📖 Scripture Reading:
James 1:8 – “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Beloved, here’s the truth: you can’t walk in destiny and hold onto comfort. You can’t live knee-deep and expect upper-room power. It’s time to go beyond partial surrender. Let go of safety. Let the current take over. You were made to swim. So, have you been living knee-deep—spiritually engaged but emotionally guarded? Today is your call to complete surrender. Go all in. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
Knee-deep faith prays big but walks small. Go deeper.
🛡️ Responsibility:
- Surrender something today you’ve been holding onto out of fear.
- Ask the Holy Spirit for grace to yield fully.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, I let go of half-surrender. I don’t want to live stuck between prayer and obedience. Take me beyond the shallow and the split. Lead me fully into the river of Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I’m done living halfway. I release control. I step beyond fear. I’m going deeper in prayer, obedience, and power! I was made to swim! Alleluia!
📖 Bible Texts:
Ezekiel 47:1-6, Luke 5:4, James 1:8
