The Spirit of Revival (6)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Friday, 31 October 2025
Topic: The Spirit of Revival (6)
Focus: Signs of True Revival
🔥 Message:
The Spirit of Revival awakens what has grown cold, restores what has been lost, and breathes life into dry bones. Revival is not a one-time event—it’s a continual awakening of hearts to the reality of God’s presence. When the Spirit of Revival moves, complacency is shattered, hunger is rekindled, and holiness becomes beautiful again.
Habakkuk prayed: “Lord, I have heard of Your fame; I stand in awe of Your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.”
—Habakkuk 3:2
Revival begins not in crowds, but in hearts. It starts when believers bow low before God, repent of self-sufficiency, and cry out for His presence to fill their lives again. So, beloved, this devotional series will stir your heart to hunger for more of God, rebuild your personal altar, and align you with Heaven’s heartbeat for renewal and awakening.
📖 Key Verse:
Habakkuk 3:2 (NIV): “Lord, I have heard of Your fame; I stand in awe of Your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.”
Devotional:
Not every emotional moment is revival. True revival is not measured by noise, crowds, or miracles—it’s measured by transformation. When the Spirit of Revival truly moves, hearts change, holiness increases, and Jesus becomes the center again. In Acts 19:18–20, we see what revival really looks like: “Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed what they had done. A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly… In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.”
Revival produces repentance, purity, and hunger for truth. It makes sin unattractive and holiness irresistible. People willingly lay down idols, reconcile relationships, and seek God above all else.
📖 Scripture Reading:
Acts 19:18–20 – Repentance and transformation followed revival.
Psalm 85:6–7 – “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?”
Matthew 3:8 – “Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.”
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
The Spirit of Revival restores reverence for the Word, passion in prayer, and purity in worship. You can tell revival has come when hearts are humbled, lives are reformed, and communities begin to reflect the presence of God. Revival is not a weekend event—it’s a lifestyle of continual renewal. True revival doesn’t just make you shout—it makes you change. Stay Refreshed!
