The Spirit of Might (3)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Tuesday, 7 October 2025
Topic: The Spirit of Might (3)
Focus: Strength in Weakness
🔥 Message:
The Spirit of Might empowers believers to do what human strength cannot accomplish. It is the power of God at work within you—enabling you to overcome weakness, conquer fear, and fulfill divine purpose. Isaiah 11:2 says: “The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might…”
Beloved, when the Spirit of Might rests upon you, ordinary limitations are broken. Samson tore down the gates of a city, David slew a giant, and Jesus, filled with the Spirit, healed the sick and raised the dead. This same Spirit dwells in every believer today, giving strength for obedience, endurance in trials, and power for victorious living. So, over the next seven days, this devotional will awaken you to the divine strength that flows from the Spirit of Might—so you can rise above weariness and walk boldly in God’s power.
📖 Key Verse:
Zechariah 4:6 (NIV): “‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
Devotional:
God’s power shines brightest in our weakness. The Spirit of Might doesn’t make you self-reliant—it makes you God-dependent. When you reach your limits, His strength begins. The Apostle Paul understood this truth when he wrote: “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
—2 Corinthians 12:9
When Gideon felt too small to lead Israel, God called him a “mighty man of valor” (Judges 6:12). The Spirit of Might turned a fearful man into a fearless warrior. Likewise, your weakness is not a barrier—it’s an invitation for divine strength to manifest.
📖 Scripture Reading:
2 Corinthians 12:9 – His power is made perfect in weakness.
Judges 6:12–14 – Gideon strengthened by divine might.
Isaiah 40:29–31 – God gives strength to the weary.
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
The Spirit of Might does not deny your frailty; He fills it. He turns timidity into boldness, fatigue into endurance, and despair into resilience. In your weakest moments, whisper: “Lord, be my strength.” You’ll find power rising from within. Weakness is not failure—it’s the doorway for divine power. Stay Refreshed!
