The Spirit of Might (2)

Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional

Date: Monday, 6 October 2025

Topic: The Spirit of Might (2)

Focus: Empowered for Battle

🔥 Message:

The Spirit of Might empowers believers to do what human strength cannot accomplish. It is the power of God at work within you—enabling you to overcome weakness, conquer fear, and fulfill divine purpose. Isaiah 11:2 says: “The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might…”

Beloved, when the Spirit of Might rests upon you, ordinary limitations are broken. Samson tore down the gates of a city, David slew a giant, and Jesus, filled with the Spirit, healed the sick and raised the dead. This same Spirit dwells in every believer today, giving strength for obedience, endurance in trials, and power for victorious living. So, over the next seven days, this devotional will awaken you to the divine strength that flows from the Spirit of Might—so you can rise above weariness and walk boldly in God’s power.

📖 Key Verse:

Zechariah 4:6 (NIV): “‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.”

Devotional:
Every believer faces battles—spiritual, emotional, or physical. But victory is not won by human strength or strategy; it is won by the Spirit of Might, who empowers you to stand firm and overcome. Zechariah 4:6 reminds us: “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord Almighty. When the Spirit of Might rests upon you, fear loses its grip. David, a young shepherd, faced a giant that terrified seasoned warriors. Yet he declared, “You come against me with sword and spear, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty” (1 Samuel 17:45).

That is the Spirit of Might—the power to confront what others run from, the strength to stand when others fall. It’s not aggression; it’s authority. It’s not loudness; it’s confidence in God’s power.

📖 Scripture Reading:
1 Samuel 17:45 – David’s victory through divine might.
Zechariah 4:6 – Not by human power but by God’s Spirit.
Ephesians 6:13 – Put on the full armor of God.

💧 Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, no battle is too great when you’re clothed with the might of the Spirit. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is alive in you. The Spirit of Might doesn’t remove battles—He empowers you to win them. Stay Refreshed!

Note This:
🔥 You are not fighting for victory; you’re fighting from victory.

🛡️ Responsibility:
✅ Identify one “giant” in your life—fear, doubt, sin, or delay. Declare, “I come against you in the name of the Lord!” and face it with faith.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, I receive the Spirit of Might for every battle I face. Strengthen my heart, steady my hands, and remind me that the victory is already Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I am empowered for battle! The Spirit of Might equips me to overcome every challenge and walk in unshakable victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
