The most fearsome thing about difficulties and challenges is not just the name, but what is lost while in it– the time, the efforts, the resources. And also, the unfair feelings aggravated– the pains, the hurts, disappointments, frustration, regrets and setbacks. So, we don’t just learn the secrets to defeating difficulties, but as a matter of importance, we must also learn to move on in life irrespective of what we lost in the process.
SCRIPTURE: Rise from the dust, O Jerusalem. Sit in a place of honor. Remove the chains of slavery from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. (Isaiah 52:2 NLT)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, I tell you, beloved, you don’t need what you’ve lost to become who you’re created to be. Anything you lose in times of difficulty; you don’t need them to become what you’re created to be. It’s what is left that you need. So, don’t cry too much over the spilled oil, for if you need them, God wouldn’t have allowed you to lose them. If you have lost it, don’t sweat over it, it is what you have left that God will use to move you into your purpose. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Difficulty is completely defeated when we faced it, subdued it, and move on in life fulfilling our purpose.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, don’t let what you have lost in times of challenges keep you away from achieving what God has in store for you in life.
PRAYER: O LORD, cause me never to allow what I have lost in times of difficulty to pull me down. Give me the grace to move on, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: Receive the grace to move past your difficulties, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
