Life happens to us all. We all go through disappointments and setbacks; it’s either a friend walked out on us, we experience unduly delay in promotion, we’re down with sickness, or we lost a loved one, and things don’t make sense. But it’s what we do in our difficult time will determine whether we get stuck, and let it sour the rest of our lives, or whether we defeat it and move on to the next level of our lives. So, beloved, in this series, we shall be learning the secrets to defeating and overcoming our difficulties.
SCRIPTURE: Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. (Isaiah 41:10 NLT)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The number one secret is “don’t give up, trust in God”. Whenever life doesn’t make sense, trust in God who always make sense (Prov. 3:5-6). When life knocks you down, don’t give up, stand up and walk again. Don’t stay down to nurse your wounds in pity and regrets, but stand up, and in faith, trust in God who knows the best for you (Mk 11:22), and He will see you through. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Don’t let your difficulties stop you from pursuing your destiny or prevent you from the wonderful things God has for you.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, in your time of trouble, don’t give up. Learn to trust in God, and never depend on your own strength.
PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. Give me the grace to always trust in You, even in my times of difficulty, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God be your strength in times of trouble. And may He send you help from heaven, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
