We all desire the beauty and the glory of God’s blessing; and the urgency to tap into it frequently resonates inside us. We could do virtually anything to achieve this feat. Many people travel far and near searching for the secret of blessing, but one place we rarely search is the Scriptures. A man’s blessing doesn’t come through his job, it’s not in his efforts, but it’s in the Word of God.
SCRIPTURE: Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night. (Psalm 1:1-3) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: There are countless blessings and wisdom God wants to give us that will only come to us through His word.
Show me a man who is blessed, and I will show you a man who doesn’t only make the Scripture his delight, but he also meditates on it day and night.
So Beloved, if we sincerely want to activate God’s blessings in our lives, we must make Psalm 1 a daily reminder. There are two things that our anchor Scripture calls us to do: walk away from sin and sinful advice, and walk toward the Word of God. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: There are countless blessings and wisdom God wants to give us that will only come to us through His word.
RESPONSIBILITY: Don’t let the Word depart from your mouth, study and meditate on it day and night.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to study and meditate on Your Word day and night, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
