Yesterday, we were able to establish that the surest and safest place to be in life is under God’s protection, which is in Christ Jesus. We also looked at what guarantees divine protection.

 

Today, we shall look at the place of divine protection, the forms and benefits of dwelling under God’s protection.

 

It is comforting to know that God watches over us even in times of great stress and fear. He guards us just as a mother bird protects her young by covering them with her wings.

 

SCRIPTURE:

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD. (Isaiah 54:17) NKJV

 

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

Divine protection and defence is your heritage.

 

Beloved, God’s protection on us is limitless and can take many forms. God is our rock that can’t be moved by any who would harm us. He is a fortress or place of safety where the enemy can’t follow. Our God is a shield that comes between us and evil. He is our place of safety high above our enemies.

 

BENEFITS OF ONE DWELLING UNDER GOD’S PROTECTION

1.    The angel of God watches over him, (Heb. 1:4, Daniel 6:22, Luke 16:22, Acts 12:7)

2.    God builds strong wall of security around him day and night against evil forces, (Exodus 13:21-22, Psalm 18:3)

3.    He rests under the shadow of God’s wing, (Psalm 17:8)

4.    God showers him with lasting prosperity, (Psalm 91:16).

5.    He flourishes in everything he does, (Psalm 92:12).

 

NOTE THIS:

Divine protection and defence is your heritage.

 

RESPONSIBILITY:

Entrust yourself to God’s protection, and pledge Him your daily devotion, (Psalm 91:1).

 

PRAYER:

O LORD, you are my fortress and defender. Protect me against the traps of the enemies, in Jesus’ name Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

 

PROPHETIC WORD:

May God protect you and yours. May He prosper you and give you lasting peace, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
