THE LORD WILL INTERCEDE FOR YOU (3)

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: SUNDAY, 17 SEPTEMBER 2023

So, beloved, having studied and understood this subject, now let’s explore “what happens when the Lord intercedes for a person.” Number one is “freedom from guilt and condemnation.” When the Lord intercedes for us, there is no condemnation, no judgment that can separate us from His love. Yes, it’s true. We are set free from the heavy burden of guilt and condemnation. God’s grace wipes away our past and offers us a fresh start. And Romans 8:34 reminds us of this beautiful truth; it says,

Bottom of FormSCRIPTURE: “Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.” – Romans 8:34 (NIV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The absence of condemnation means we can embrace a fresh start every day. The Lord’s intercession means that our sins are forgiven, and we stand justified before God. Our sins are remembered no more, allowing us to move forward in faith. His intercession empowers us to leave behind old habits and walk in the newness of life. Because our identity is now anchored in Christ, and not in our past mistakes. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: When the Lord intercedes for us, our sins are forgiven, and we’re set free from guilt and the shame of the past.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, go on and leave freely in faith and know that the Lord has set you free. Alleluia.

PRAYER: O LORD, thank You for Your powerful hands of intercession for us,  and may our freedom be permanent, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

PROPHETIC WORD: As the Lord intercedes for us, may we always walk in freedom, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

BIBLE TEXTS: Romans 8:34
