Until now, I know we may still be wondering, what is this lens of life? Is it some sort of eye contact lens, or a physical object through which we can see? No, it’s not. But there is something spectacular about the lens of life. It’s not a physical eye nor an object, it’s rather a way of life, a Christ-like way of life. For the Scripture says, anyone who belongs to Christ will be given a new life, (1 Cor. 15:22).
SCRIPTURE: Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, no matter how big and sharp our physical eyes are, we can never see clearly without the lens of life which is found in Christ Jesus. Too many people in our world today have eyes but they can’t see. They are blind to this truth. Their lenses are fogged up by political nepotism, wrong moral relativism and spiritual apathy. But sincere life in Christ does not only imbue in us correct faith in God, but also gives us hope to guide us through tough and difficult times. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: No matter how big and sharp our physical eyes are, we can never see clearly without the lens of life which is found in Christ Jesus.
RESPONSIBILITY: Make demands for this lens of life, even as you ask God to help you live a true Christian life.
PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. Give me the grace to live a true Christian life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God be above you to bless and protect you, besides you to guide you, and beneath you to lift you up, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
