THE KEYS TO FRUITFUL LIVING (1)

One of the greatest desires of men is to be fruitful. We could do essentially anything to be successful in life. But in this series, we shall be looking at the functional keys to fruitful living. The biblical truths that make the difference in a man’s life. The extraordinary piece of evidence that can transform a person and sets him on course of living a profitable life. And one those realities are found in John 15:7, thus the bible says,
SCRIPTURE: If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. (John 15:7 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, if you want to lead a great life, a successful, and yet a fruitful life, you must ‘abide in Jesus’. Abiding in Jesus means plunging yourself in Christ Jesus; enduring and persisting in Him, continuing, and remaining in Him no matter what. When a man abides in Christ, other things will locate him and abide in him (Matt 6:33). And what others struggle to get comes to him effortlessly. Yes, this is true. Such a man would begin to experience the manifestations of God’s glory and power in his life (Jn 15:8). He becomes a tree planted by the riverside that brings forth fruit in season and out of season, its leaf does not wither. And anything he touches will prosper (Ps 1:3). He does not lack, but he lives in abundance.
And so, dear friend in Christ, my prayer for you today, is that you become such a man. We shall continue tomorrow with other keys, but till then, Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Success does not come from our effort nor our talent, it comes from God. And when we abide in Jesus Christ.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, intentionally, desire to abide in Christ Jesus. Come to Jesus today, mend your ways, and He shall give you the desires of your heart (Ps 37:4).
PRAYER: O LORD JESUS, come into my life, and cause me to always abide in You all the days of my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God take away anything that would hinder from abiding in Christ, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
