Devotional:
Before Moses ever stood before Pharaoh, he stood before fire—alone. No one saw it. No one celebrated it. But that private burning was the moment God marked him. Public authority always flows from private fire. Revivalists are not made on platforms—they’re made where no one is watching, where only God can speak, and only fire can shape. Before there are crowds, there is consecration. Before there is power, there is pruning. The burning bush was more than a miracle—it was a furnace of calling. And it happened in the wilderness.

So, beloved, if you’re in a private season, don’t despise it. God is burning things into you now that will sustain you when He sends you. Let the fire do its work. Let the voice speak. Let the private season prepare you for a public assignment. The secret fire is not less important—it’s more important. What God does in you now will carry you when you’re sent later. Embrace the burning. Stay Refreshed!

Set aside focused time today in solitude. Ask the Lord: “What are You trying to burn into me in this season?” Write it down. Pray into it.

Father, let the fire of Your presence mark me deeply. Even if no one sees, I say yes.
Burn everything in me that’s not of You—and prepare me to carry what You’re building in private. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
