THE GREATEST RESCUE MISSION (4)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Monday, 9 December 2024
Focus: Jesus Came to Redeem Us
Redemption is at the heart of Jesus’ mission. To redeem means to buy back, to restore what was lost or stolen. Jesus, through His sacrifice on the cross, paid the ultimate price to free us from the bondage of sin and death. He didn’t just rescue us; He restored our value, purpose, and identity in God. This redemption transforms us into new creations, reflecting God’s glory. The greatest rescue mission wasn’t just about saving us but also about restoring us to the fullness of life in Christ.
Scripture Reading:
Galatians 3:13 – “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.'”
Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, reflect on what it means to be redeemed by Christ. Spend time thanking Him for the price He paid to restore you and ask Him to show you how to live as someone who has been bought back for His glory. Stay Refreshed!
Note This:
Redemption means Jesus not only saved us but also restored our identity and value in God.
Responsibility:
Are you living in the fullness of your redemption in Christ? How can you share this truth with others who need to hear it?
Prayer:
O Lord, thank You for redeeming me and restoring my identity and purpose in You. Help me to live as a reflection of Your glory and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Prophetic Declaration:
I declare that I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and my life reflects the value and purpose He has restored in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
