THE GREATEST RESCUE MISSION (3)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional www.thefountspring.org
Date: Sunday, 8 December 2024
Focus: Jesus Came to Restore the Lost
The goal of Jesus’ rescue mission was not just to save us from sin but to restore us to a relationship with the Father. Salvation brings reconciliation—we are no longer separated from God but brought near as His children. Jesus restores what was lost in the Garden of Eden: our fellowship with God, our purpose, and our eternal hope. Through Him, we are not only saved but also made new, empowered to live in the fullness of God’s love and purpose for our lives.
Scripture Reading:
2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
Refreshing for the Day:
Today, reflect on the restoration Jesus has brought to your life. Consider the ways He has made you new and given you hope and purpose. Pray for continued renewal and for the courage to walk fully in the identity He has given you as a child of God.
Note This:
Jesus doesn’t just save us from sin; He restores us to the fullness of life with God.
Responsibility:
How has Jesus restored your relationship with God? In what ways has He made you new and given you purpose?
Prayer:
O Lord, thank You for restoring me to the Father. Help me to walk confidently in my identity as Your child, living out the purpose You have given me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Prophetic Declaration:
I declare that I am restored by the love of Christ. I am a new creation, walking in fellowship with God and living in His purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
