THE GREATEST RESCUE MISSION (2)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional www.thefountspring.org
Date: Saturday, 7 December 2024
Focus: Jesus Came to Save the Lost
Jesus didn’t just come to seek the lost; He came to save them. His mission wasn’t about offering temporary relief but eternal salvation. Through His death on the cross and resurrection, He paid the ultimate price for our sins, rescuing us from eternal separation from God. Salvation is a gift, freely given to anyone who believes in Him. This mission required sacrifice—Jesus laid down His life so that we might be restored to the Father. His sacrifice is the heart of the rescue mission: love in action.
Scripture Reading:
John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, spend time today meditating on the cross and the price Jesus paid for your salvation. Reflect on the enormity of His sacrifice and what it means to be saved. Ask the Lord to fill your heart with gratitude for His gift of salvation. Stay Refreshed!
Note This:
The rescue mission of Christ required the ultimate sacrifice—a love so profound that it paid the price for every sin.
Responsibility:
How does understanding Jesus’ sacrifice deepen your gratitude for salvation? What does being “saved” mean to you personally?
Prayer:
O Lord, thank You for saving me through Your sacrifice. Let the reality of Your love and grace transform my heart and my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Prophetic Declaration:
I declare that I am saved by the blood of Jesus. His sacrifice has redeemed me, and I live in the freedom of His love. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
