Focus: Living as a Burning Altar
🔥 Message:
The fire of revival is sustained only on the altar of surrender. Without the altar, there can be no lasting flame. The Altar represents the place of sacrifice, intimacy, and prayer—where flesh dies, and God’s glory lives. The Fire represents His presence, passion, and power—Heaven’s response to a yielded heart. 1 Kings 18:30–39 records that Elijah rebuilt the altar of the Lord that had been torn down, and when he prayed, fire fell. God’s fire always responds to a restored altar.
So, beloved, in this devotional series, we’ll explore what it means to rebuild and maintain your spiritual altar—to become a life fully yielded, consistently burning, and unashamedly set apart for God.

1 Kings 18:30 (NIV): “Then Elijah said to all the people, ‘Come here to me.’ They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the Lord, which had been torn down.”
Devotional:
You were never meant to visit the altar—you were meant to become one.
The ultimate goal of revival is not a moment of fire but a life that burns continually before God. The Spirit’s desire is to turn every believer into a living altar—a vessel where His fire never goes out. Romans 12:1 says: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”
Elijah had to rebuild a stone altar, but in Christ, you are now the altar. The Holy Spirit no longer dwells in a temple made with hands—He dwells in you. Wherever you go, the fire should go too. You are God’s portable sanctuary, carrying His presence into every sphere of life.

To live as a burning altar means to stay yielded daily—to live in continual worship, repentance, and obedience. The secret to sustained fire is constant surrender. The moment you stop yielding, the flame begins to fade. The fire that once fell on the altar now lives in you. Guard it. Feed it. Let it burn bright until the whole world sees Jesus in your flame. You are the altar. Keep the fire alive. Stay Refreshed!
