TAKE GOD’S CHARACTER FOR YOUR PATTERN

The earnest way of producing good fruits while keeping in repentance is by taking God’s character for our pattern. When we talk about God’s character, we talk about the very essence and the nature of God. Sincerity of life, obedience and responsibility are in God’s nature, and anything that truly is of God suggests and reflects that nature. So, as Christians we are encouraged to model this divine pattern.
SCRIPTURE: Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Taking God’s character for your pattern simply means adopting in all sense and totality the very nature of God, purging out every ill attitude, behavior and character of yours, and sincerely conforming to the form of God. And you can achieve this by filling your thought with Godly desires, submitting and substituting your own Will for God’s Will, serving and obeying God in everything. And when you do all these, you shall not only lead a true Christian life, but you will also produce good fruits of life. Stay Refreshed!
