In our quest to leverage and fix everything in life by ourselves, we strive. There’s this constant pressure we always feel on the inside, it’s a kind of pushy, trying to force everything, and at the end we strive. But the Word of God is saying to us, “Stop your striving and know that I am God.”

SCRIPTURE: “Stop striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth.” (Psalm 46:10) NASB

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, you weren’t created to live striving. It’s very freeing when you realize, you don’t have to make everything happen. But if you’ll keep God first place, He’ll bring the good success to you, He’ll turn every negative situation around, and cause the right doors to open to you. Striving hasn’t helped anyone; it’s not helping you either. All striving is doing is wearing you out, causing you to feel overwhelmed. So, I counsel you, take the pressure off, trust in God and always keep Him first place in your life, and He’ll bring your dreams to pass. Stay Lifted!

PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to strive not, and cause me to always keep You first place in my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
