STEP OUT OF YOUR TENT

Every purpose has a place for its manifestation. And until a purpose gets to its place, no matter how incredible and wonderful it may be, it may never find expression. This principle is so true to life and its entirety. And so, to understand it better, I share with you another revealing subject matter– “step out of your tent”. Many great talents, purposes and dreams are lying dormant, undeveloped, and suffocating inside their shelves. And until they are uncovered, fostered, and birthed at the right place, they will forever remain wasted. Let us study the account of Abram in Genesis 15:5,
SCRIPTURE: And the Lord brought Abram outside [his tent into the night] and said, “Look now toward the heavens and count the stars—if you are able to count them.” Then He said to him, “So [numerous] shall your descendants be.” (Genesis 15:5 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Insights from the Scripture has it that Abram was burdened for his lack of an heir, and he queried God, “O Lord, what good are all your blessings while I don’t even have a son?” (vs. 2). Though, Abram’s quiver was full of many nations, yet he was burdened for a son. He was inside his tent sorrowing and wailing. Until God brought him out and told him to look into the heavens and count the stars… (vs. 5). Sure, they were uncountable, but that’s how many descendants he would have.
Beloved, too many of us are like Abram. We are locked into our own shelves. Our talents and purposes are decaying. We are fasting and praying at the wrong place. But all we need is to step out of our comfort zones, locate and walk into our manifestations. God has given you everything you may need; and He’s saying to you, “step out of your tent”. Stay Refreshed!
