STAY IN FAITH

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: TUESDAY, 31 AUGUST 2021

We all go through some things in life that’s messy and uncomfortable. We don’t like it. It seems that the moment we have decided to live a new life in Christ, that’s when the whole of messy things would begin to happen to us. But I tell you, if we will stay in faith, keep on trusting God, have a new perspective, it’s going to strengthen us. Though it may be messy, but it’s launching us into a new season of growth.

SCRIPTURE: Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. (1 Corinthians 16:13) NIV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: In whatever predicament you find yourself, don’t let it steer the wheel of your life. That predicament, messy situation is like a manure. Manures stink a lot; it smells really bad. When it’s applied to the plants, the smell fills the place, one could hardly bear it. But if you come back in a month or two, the smell is gone and the plants are blooming. They’re blossoming. They’re seeing new growth. The manure, as bad as it smells, it’s giving the plants valuable nutrients and minerals that they could not get otherwise.

Beloved, in the same way, when we’re going through some messy and uncomfortable situations in life, it feels as if a heavy rock falls upon us; but if we will stay in faith, we will definitely sail through them all. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS: In whatever predicament you find yourself, don’t let it steer the wheel of your life.

RESPONSIBILITY: Be positive in life, stay in faith while you trust in God always.

PRAYER: O LORD, deliver me from every difficulty and give me the grace to stay in faith always, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD: May God deliver you and yours from every difficulty, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

BIBLE TEXTS: 1 Cor. 16:13

  • First of all I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask
if you do not mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself
and clear your thoughts before writing. I have had a difficult
time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out there.
I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost just
trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints?
    Kudos!
