Starting the Year With God (6)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Tuesday, 13 January 2026
Topic: Starting the Year With God (6)
Focus: Trusting God When the Path Is Unclear
🔥Theme:
How we begin matters. This devotional series focuses on starting the year intentionally with God at the center—not rushing ahead, but walking with Him from the very first step. These days will guide you to surrender your plans, seek God’s direction, and build the year on a foundation that will last. As you begin with God, you can move forward with confidence, peace, and purpose.
📖 Key Verse:
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” — Psalm 127:1
Devotional:
Not every step in the new year will be clear. Sometimes God gives direction without revealing the full picture. This is where trust becomes essential. Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us to trust the Lord with all our heart and not rely on our own understanding. Trust means choosing to follow God even when the path feels uncertain. God does not withhold clarity to confuse you—He does it to draw you closer.
📖 Scripture Reading:
- Proverbs 3:5–6 — Trust God’s guidance
- Isaiah 30:21 — God directs the way
- 2 Corinthians 5:7 — Walking by faith
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, when the way ahead feels unclear, His presence becomes your guide. One step of faith is often all He asks for. You don’t need to see far ahead. You only need to trust the One who already sees the end. Trust keeps you moving forward even when clarity feels limited. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🛤️ Faith walks before understanding arrives.
🛡️ Responsibility:
When you feel uncertain today, pause and say: “Lord, I trust You with this step.”
🙏 Prayer:
Father, when the path ahead feels unclear, help me trust You fully. Lead me step by step, and give me peace as I walk by faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I trust God even when the way is unclear. He is guiding my steps and leading me forward with peace and confidence. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
