Today, as much as ever before, anyone sensitive in the spirit knows that we need true, sincere and genuine spiritual sanitizing in our hearts, our homes, our nations, in the church and all over the world.

 

One way or another, all of our problems go back to sin: People stubbornly rejecting God and become defiant to His righteous ways. The world is in so much trouble today simply because of sin.

 

We need to be rescued from the influence and the consequence of sin.

 

SCRIPTURE:

Now restore us again, O God of our salvation. Put aside your anger against us once more. (Psalms 85:4).

 

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

Spiritual sanitizing today is first and foremost about Christians personally getting right with God.

 

However, Christians should know that the problem is not just other people’s sin. The problem is our own sin. Most of us need spiritual sanitizing in our own hearts and lives. I know I do.

 

WHEN DO WE NEED SPIRITUAL SANITIZING?

1.    When we seldom think thoughts of eternity.

2.    When the fire for prayers and the study of the word is dead.

3.    When believers can be at odds with each other and not feel compelled to pursue reconciliation

4.    When we become lazy to witness to the lost.

5.    When our Christianity is joyless and dry.

6.    When immoral living has become a life style.

Let us pray for a thorough spiritual sanitizing in our lives today.

 

NOTE THIS:

Spiritual sanitizing today is first and foremost about Christians personally getting right with God.

 

RESPONSIBILITY:

Cry to God for mercy and pray for the grace to sanitize your life.

 

PRAYER:

Show us your mercy, O Lord, and grant us your salvation, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

 

PROPHETIC WORD:

May God look down upon us with mercy and forgive our sins, in the name of Jesus, AMEN!
