SOARING LIKE AN EAGLE (2)

A farmer found a young Eaglet and brought it home with him. He put it with his other birds, chickens, ducks, turkeys. Fed it grain like the other birds. Few years later a hunter friend visited him and noticed the Eagle, “that’s an Eagle not a chicken.” The Farmer replied, he is no longer an Eagle, he thinks he’s a chicken.” “No,” said the hunter, “it is still an Eagle, it has the heart of an Eagle and I will make it soar high up to the heavens.” “No,” said the owner, “he’ll never fly.”
The Hunter picked up the eagle, “You are an Eagle, Fly!” the Eagle just turned, walked off pecking at the ground and returned to the barnyard with other birds.
He took the eagle out to the mountains. The surroundings were unfamiliar, the sun was rising majestically, and the wind rustled the Eagle’s feathers. The hunter took the Eagle in his arms and threw him into the air directly towards the rising sun, “You are an Eagle, Fly! The Eagle hesitated, then screeched and launched out into the air. It soared high above the earth, never to return to its bondage.
SCRIPTURE:
“I am the LORD, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me? (Jeremiah) 32:27 NLT
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
God created us in his image. He created us to soar.
But we have allowed the world and its challenges to convince us that we are chickens, and so we wander around pecking at the ground in misery and hopelessness when all the time God wants to Lift us up and replace misery with hope. Not only does God want to lift us up that we might refocus and be great; He wants to lift us up that we might do exploits. I challenge you today, refuse to live small, begin to soar NOW!
NOTE THIS:
God created us in his image. He created us to soar.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Everything that would make you great and soar in life is found in Christ, seek Him TODAY and soar higher.
PRAYER:
O God, trigger every trace of greatness in me so that I can soar in life, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
Receive the grace to succeed in all that you do, in the name of Jesus, AMEN!
