So, beloved, in adopting a holistic approach to goal-setting, recognize that each dimension of your life contributes to the overall well-being of who you are. Balance your time and energy and be intentional about your priorities. This is especially important. Balance the demands of your professional, personal, spiritual, and relational life, ensure that none of these aspects is neglected.
SCRIPTURE: “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” – 3 John 1:2 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Set healthy boundaries to prevent burnout and maintain a balanced life. Recognize when to say no to certain commitments and when to prioritize self-care. This allows you to be strong and keep fit to serve God and others from the place of strength. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: A holistic approach requires consistency between your aspirations and your actions.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, strive to live in harmony with your values, bringing balance and reality to all areas of your life, while paying attention to your emotional well-being.
PRAYER: Oh God, help our lives. As we seek to set Christ-centered goals in this new year, give us the grace to adopt holistic approach and balance in all we do in life. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen!
