In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of material success, personal ambitions, and daily responsibilities. We often find ourselves juggling a multitude of tasks, striving to achieve our goals, and worrying about the future. Yet, in the midst of this hustle and bustle, Jesus offers us a profound and life-changing invitation: “Seek ye first the kingdom of God.”
SCRIPTURE: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: What does it mean to seek the kingdom of God? To seek the kingdom of God means to prioritize our relationship with God above all else. It involves aligning our desires, actions, and values with God’s will and purpose for our lives. When we seek God’s kingdom first, we place Him at the center of our decisions, trusting that He will provide for our needs and guide us in the right direction. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Seeking God’s kingdom is not a one-time event but a continual pursuit.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, as you go about your day, let God’s presence guide you, His Word inspire you, and His love flow through you.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the invitation to seek Your kingdom first. Help us to prioritize our relationship with You above all else. Guide our hearts and minds to align with Your will and purpose. Give us the strength and wisdom to trust in Your provision and to live lives that reflect Your love and righteousness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
