RESOLUTIONS ALONE ARE NEVER ENOUGH (9)

If we must make resolutions and genuinely want to achieve desired results, we must keep this basic truth in mind and never ever joke with it; the truth is “do not substitute work with prayer”. This attitude has deterred many goals and relegated too many people to the poverty zone. However earnest our resolutions may be, we need a corresponding amount of realistic input, resolute effort and sincere participation to make it worthwhile.
SCRIPTURE: Whoever is lazy regarding his work is also a brother to the master of destruction. (Proverbs 18:9) ISV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, resolution on its own can never produce results, no matter how wonderful it is. It needs the intervention of willpower, determination, calculated efforts, great planning, hardworking and doing the right thing at the right time to be accomplished. So, you need to work. You don’t pray while you’re supposed to be working. Please don’t misunderstand me. I’m not saying prayer is not good, but you pray at the right time and also work at the right time. You don’t substitute work with prayer. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: However earnest our resolutions may be, we need a corresponding amount of realistic input, resolute effort and sincere participation to make it worthwhile.
RESPONSIBILITY: Pray, and work is the right equation. So, try and balance it at all times.
PRAYER: O LORD, as I make new resolutions for the year 2022, give me the strength to work to achieve my set goals, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
