Sometimes in life’s pursuit, once a defined and well-tailored purpose will take a different turn unknowing to us. And to this reason, there is every need we once in a while, stop and do a check on our purpose to see if it is still on course with the purpose of God upon our lives. Resets are necessary in every arears of our life. What does reset mean when you are talking about your purpose?
Resetting of our purpose is a complete overhauling of adulterated ideas, refurbishing of our mental clutch and restoring of our purpose; and realigning them with the purpose of God upon our lives. It is simply restoring our purpose to its God’s default setting.
SCRIPTURE:
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God…(Ephesians 4:22-24) NIV

So, when is reset necessary in a person’s life?
1. A reset is necessary when the life a person is living has become completely and incredibly different from the purpose of God for his life and destiny.
2. When a person has drastically shifted from God’s purpose and plan for his life and considerably begin to pursue his own plans and self-seeking desires.
