REMOVE WHAT’S BLOCKING YOUR GROWTH

Too many of us have ignorantly allowed different kinds of shades to block their growth in life. The shade of guilt—probably from their past mistakes, the shade of fear and intimidation over what people said about them. They were told they didn’t qualified and won’t make it in life. Now the shade is limiting their progress life, holding them back from becoming who God has created them to be. But the good news is we can’t continue living under those shades, we have got to step out in faith and remove what’s blocking our growth.
SCRIPTURE: Morning after morning I will destroy all the wicked in the land, That I may cut off from the city of the LORD all those who do evil. (Psalm 101:8 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: A young poor student was told by his teacher in school that he’s too dull and not intelligent to make it through the college. He was sent out of school. So, his mother sold all that she had and changed him to another school in town. Friends and other students would make a jest of him, and he would walk back home with head bends low. He was so discouraged. But his mother would always say to him,” You are intelligent, my son. I believe you will make it through”. So, many years later, the boy went from being a poor student to receiving academic honors and eventually attending medical school. And that young, poor student is Dr Ben Carson.
As a doctor, he became director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital at age 33 and earned fame for his groundbreaking work separating conjoined twins. He later launched his official bid for Republican Presidential nomination in 2015 and was nominated and confirmed as secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development in 2017. So, beloved, I don’t know what shade that’s blocking your growth? But whatever it is, I tell you, there is nothing wrong with you. The seed of God is in you. You have the potential to succeed. You just have to get out from under the shade, remove what’s blocking your growth and you’ll begin to blossom. Stay Refreshed!

PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to rise above everything blocking my growth in life and destiny, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
