At some point in every journey comes a time of a deliberate, thoughtful stop, when we check to carefully ascertain that we’re still on the right course. But we’re so bent and, in a hurry, to achieve our goals and purposes on earth, and fail to notice even when we’re off the path. But then again, it’s right and absolutely true we realign our focus to stay on course. We must learn to always be on guard in every moment of our life. So, Paul says, “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things”.
SCRIPTURE: Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. (Colossians 3:2) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: In your journey through life; if you find you’re drifting off course, stop over, carefully and thoughtfully realign your focus and continue. For it is said that “when the rhythm of the beats changes, the dance steps would also change”.
Beloved, what Paul was saying in essence in our anchor Scripture is that we have to realign our focus, and set our minds on the important things in life—the things that bring us closer to God, things that will not drift us from our destiny. These are things that would help us lead a great life, while maximising our potentials on earth. Stay Lifted!
