PENTECOST PEOPLE: LIVING FILLED, BOLD, AND SENT (2)

Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional

Date: Tuesday, 10 June 2025

Topic: Pentecost People: Living Filled, Bold, and Sent (2)

Focus: Boldness in the Face of Opposition

🔥 Message:

Receiving the Holy Spirit is not the end—it’s the beginning. The Upper Room was the launchpad. Now comes the walk, the witness, and the war. This devotional will stir you to live full of the Spirit, bold in your witness, and sent into the world with fire.

📖 Key Verse:

Acts 4:31 – “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”

Devotional:

One of the first signs of the Holy Spirit’s filling was boldness. Before Pentecost, Peter denied Jesus out of fear. After Pentecost, that same Peter stood up and declared the gospel to a crowd of thousands. Something changed—and that something was the Spirit. Boldness is not arrogance. It’s not self-confidence. It’s God-confidence—a supernatural courage to speak, live, and move for Christ regardless of opposition.

📖 Scripture Reading:

  • Acts 4:31 – “They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”
  • 2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.”

💧 Refreshing for the Day:

The early Church prayed not for safety, but for boldness (Acts 4:29). They knew the cost of their calling, yet they pressed on because the Spirit empowered them. So, beloved, if you’re filled, you can’t remain silent. In a world trying to silence truth and tame the gospel, God is raising a fearless generation—Pentecost People who are unashamed of the Name. Ask God to baptize you with boldness today. Speak the truth in love. Don’t shrink back—you carry heaven’s authority. Stay Refreshed!

Note This:

The Holy Spirit doesn’t just comfort you—He also commissions you.

🛡️ Responsibilities:

  • Identify one area where fear has kept you silent or passive.
  • Ask God to replace that fear with Spirit-led courage, and take one bold step today.

🙏 Prayer:

Lord, fill me with boldness. I repent for where fear has ruled me. Let the fire of Pentecost burn away every hesitation, and give me the courage to stand for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

🔥 Prophetic Declaration:

I am bold as a lion! I will not be silent or afraid. The Spirit of God empowers me to declare truth, walk in authority, and live unashamed! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

📖 Bible Texts:

Acts 2: 1-4; 4:31, 2 Tim 1:7
