Focus: Clearing the Path
So, beloved, before opening the door to Jesus, we must clear the path of anything that blocks Him. Sin, distractions, and worldly priorities can clutter our hearts and make it hard for us to truly welcome Him. Advent is a time to reflect, repent, and remove anything that hinders His presence in our lives.
Scripture Reading:
Hebrews 12:1 – “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
Refreshing for the Day:
Spend time today reflecting on what might be hindering your relationship with Jesus. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you clear those obstacles and make your heart a welcoming place for Him. Stay Refreshed!
Note This:
Removing the clutter from our hearts opens the door for Jesus to dwell fully within us.
Responsibility:
What distractions or sins are blocking the door to your heart? How can you remove them today?
Prayer:
Lord, reveal the things in my life that hinder Your presence. Help me to clear the path and make my heart ready to welcome You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Prophetic Declaration:
I declare that every obstacle in my heart is removed. My life is a clear path for Jesus to enter. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
