O Lord, Revive Us Again (5)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Thursday, 31 July 2025
Topic: O Lord, Revive Us Again (5)
Focus: Revived to Carry His Presence
🔥 Message:
Revival is not a church event—it is a divine invasion. It is God breathing life into what has become dry, routine, or lifeless. It is the heart cry of those who are no longer satisfied with business as usual, who cry out with holy desperation: “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?” (Psalm 85:6) This devotional series is a call back to the fire. A cry from the altar. A stirring of the soul that longs to see the Church awakened, sin forsaken, the lost drawn, and the presence of God made real again.
📖 Key Verse:
Psalm 85:6 (NKJV) “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?”
Devotional:
Revival isn’t just about feeling fire—it’s about becoming a carrier of God’s presence. When God revives a heart, He fills it—not just with emotion, but with Himself. He doesn’t just stir us to weep—He equips us to walk with Him and carry His glory into dark places. Consider Obed-Edom in 2 Samuel 6:11. When the Ark of the Covenant (a symbol of God’s presence) was placed in his house, everything changed. His home was blessed. His life was marked. Revival came to his address—not because of a crowd, but because of the presence.
📖 Scripture Reading:
2 Samuel 6:11 – “The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom… and the Lord blessed him…”
1 Corinthians 6:19 – “Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit…”
Exodus 33:15 – “If Your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.”
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Beloved, you are not revived to remain in a moment. You are revived to become a mobile dwelling place for God’s glory. You’re called to take what you’ve received in the secret place into your school, job, neighborhood, or city. Revival isn’t revival if it stays contained—it must overflow. When your heart becomes a throne for God, your life becomes a torch in His hands. So, you’re not just a recipient of revival—you’re a vessel of His presence. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
Revival doesn’t end when the altar call ends. It begins when you carry the fire out the door.
🛡️ Responsibility:
✅ Invite the Holy Spirit today to make your life His resting place. Ask Him to reveal where you’ve grieved or ignored His presence—and commit to walk closely again.
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, revive me to carry You. Don’t just visit—dwell in me. Let my life be a resting place for Your presence. Everywhere I go, let revival follow, because You live in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I am a carrier of the glory! I walk with God, and His presence goes before me. Revival is not behind me—it moves through me. My life is a tabernacle for the King! Alleluia!
📖 Bible Texts:
Psalm 85:6, 1Cor. 6:19, 2 Samuel 6:11, Exodus 33:15
