NO MORE DRY ALTARS: REKINDLING THE FIRE OF PRAYER AND WORSHIP (6)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Monday, 21 April 2025
Focus: Prayer Rebuilds What Was Lost
Message:
Many altars have grown cold, but God is calling us to repair and relight them. This series awakens fresh hunger and daily devotion.
Key Verse:
📖 1 Kings 18:30 – “Elijah repaired the altar of the Lord that had been torn down.”
Devotional:
When Elijah rebuilt the altar, he wasn’t just stacking stones—he was restoring covenant. The altar represented more than a place—it symbolized a relationship between God and His people that had been neglected, broken, and forgotten. Similarly, prayer today isn’t just about words—it’s about rebuilding broken places: Broken faith. Broken dreams. Broken relationships. Broken identity. Beloved, every time you kneel in prayer, you partner with God in the work of restoration. You are not powerless—you are rebuilding what the enemy tried to destroy.
đź“– Scripture Reading:
Jeremiah 30:17 – “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord.”
Amos 9:11 – “I will restore David’s fallen shelter—I will repair its broken walls and restore its ruins…”
đź’§ Refreshing for the Day:
Through prayer, dry places become rivers. Through prayer, dead things breathe again.
Through prayer, broken hearts are healed. You are not wasting your time when you pray—you are rebuilding altars for the fire of revival to fall. So, ask yourself: “What area of my life has been torn down that God wants to rebuild through prayer?” Don’t rush through prayer today—linger. Press. Partner with Him to see the ruins rebuilt and the broken places made whole. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
Prayer doesn’t just maintain revival—it rebuilds destiny.
🛡️ Responsibility:
- Write down one broken or dry area you are believing God to rebuild.
- Spend time today speaking life over it in prayer—partner with Heaven for full restoration.
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, I believe You are the Master Rebuilder. Where I see ruins, You see restoration.
Where I see brokenness, You see beauty. I give You every shattered place, and I believe You will rebuild it for Your glory. Teach me to rebuild at the altar of prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
Through prayer, the ruins are rebuilt! I am partnering with God to restore what was lost, repair what was broken, and rekindle what has grown cold! Revival starts again with me! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
